How to File RTI Application with UPMRCL?
Any citizen of India who desires to obtain any information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Act) may file RTI application accompanied with requisite fee to Public Information officers, UPMRC, Administrative Building, Vipin Khand, Lucknow 226010, or may file RTI application online through https://rtionline.gov.in/
Application Fee
In accordance to directive given in the Gazette notification issued by Deptt. of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, Govt. of India, vide no. 34012/8(s)/2005-Estt.(B) dated 16.09.2005, the application for obtaining Information under sub-section (1) of section 6 must be accompanied by prescribed application fee. At present the application fee is as Rs 10/-.
Mode of Payment
By cash against proper receipt or by demand draft/banker's cheque / postal order drawn in favour of ‘Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited. 'Persons who belong to BPL category are not required to pay any fee provided necessary documents are produced in support of their claim.
Additional Fee
In case additional fees are required, the applicant will be informed about the same.
RTI fee of Rs 10/- can be submitted by cash, through Indian Postal Order (IPO) or through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Account Officer, Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited.
The fee (in cash/IPO/DD) can only be submitted at the office of Public Information Officer (PIO), Administrative Building, Vipin Khand, Lucknow 226010. One can personally deposit the fee (in cash/IPO/DD) at the office of PIO or alternatively he / she may sent IPO or DD by post to following address-
