LMRC REUNITES 8 YEARS OLD GIRL WITH HER GUARDIANS; PROACTIVE RESPONSE FROM LMRC STAFF BRINGS A SMILE TO THE FAMILY

Lucknow Metro has consistently earned the reputation of being the safest and most reliable means of public transport in the city and is dedicated towards ensuring a safe environment both inside the trains and metro premises. Lucknow Metro not only provides quick travel but also gives priority to the safety and security of its passengers. The staff of Lucknow Metro once again set an example of readiness and compassion by reuniting an Eight (8) years old girl, Sadaf Fatima with her guardians on 16th December, 2018 (Sunday).



Sadaf was handed over to her elder brother safely after she got separated at the Alambagh Metro station while boarding the train. Due to some reasons, Sadaf's relatives failed to board the train and she had reached at the Alambagh Bus Stand Metro Station.



On 16th December, 2018, around 8 PM, Sadaf deboarded at the Alambagh Bus Stand Metro Station and on duty security guard Shri Arjun Verma identified that she was roaming at the Metro station without any guardian. He immediately informed the station controller Shri Abhishek Maurya and rescued the girl to the Station Control Room (SCR). After a while, Sadaf's elder brother and resident of Lucknow Shri Shehzade Abbas Abidi contacted the guard and approached to the SCR. After completing all the formalities and ensuring identities of both the Sadaf and her brother, Shri Abhishek Maurya handed over the girl to her brother at 8.20 PM. Due to the promptness, agility & timely responsiveness of the Metro staff, an eight years old girl reunited with her guardians within 15 minutes. Sadaf's brother thanked the Metro staff for having such a sensitive and responsible approach for their commuters.
