Amity University, Lucknow, today felicitated 57 Lucknow Metro new recruits by presenting them ‘Certificates of Achievement’for undergoing a training programme on managerial and communication skillsat their campus. This training programme, which is the brainchild of Shri Kumar Keshav, Managing Director, LucknowMetro Rail Corporation Ltd., had been customized to impart specialised training to the young recruits to sharpen their managerial and communication skills in regard to their profession.

Today, these new recruited officers and engineers of LMRC were conferred with ‘Certificates of Achievement’ in the auditorium after completion of their training. Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) had tied up with the Amity University for providing this training to its directly recruited fresh candidates that lasted from 15.10.2015 to 30.10.2015. This training programme was planned with an endeavour to enhance thecompetitive communication skills of Assistant Engineers, Assistant Managers and Junior Engineers with the finesse of corporate communication and soft skills that define the value of present day technocrats and management professionals.

The training programme witnessed an enthusiastic participation from the vibrant and young officials who were given intensive workshop - specific training on modules of confident communication, interpersonal skills, customer care, conflict resolution, leadership skills, presentation skills, business meeting, business correspondence and professional grooming.

Earlier, the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) had also discussed prospects of developing some concepts of Art Work for stations through the students of Amity University. A competition among studentsfor artwork depicting the rich cultural heritage of Awadh and its speciality was arranged at Amity University. Sixteen entries were shortlisted for the final round.Finally,nine(09)artworks of students of the Amity Institute of Architecture andPlanning (ASAP) and Amity School of Fine Arts (ASFA)have beenshortlisted out of total 55 participating students.

Today, LMRC also felicitated these students by presenting them with ‘Certificates of Participation’ and cash awards.

The programme concluded today with a valedictory function held in the presence of Major General K. K. Ohri (AVSM), Pro Vice Chancellor,Amity University. Lucknow Campus.ShriAjai Kant Rastogi, Director (Finance) and Shri Daljeet Singh, Director (Works &Infrastructue) and other senior officers of LMRC were also present during the function.
