He said, “No matter how busy we get; we need to do our bit for the society even if it comes at the cost of our comfort. We, at LMRC, have always believed in development that takes the society along. We can’t forget our responsibility towards environment.”

The officials also volunteered ‘Shram Daan’ at the Transport Nagar Metro Depot.Reflecting upon Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals on his 150th Birth Anniversary, panels were displayed at Charbagh and Transport Nagar Metro Stations depicting his message of “Swachhta Hee Sewa” and ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’.

These activities form a part of Lucknow Metro’s clean & green initiative, wherein LMRC aims to provide an environmental friendly Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) for the public from the first day of its inception.
